Mineral zinc oxide sun balm. Four ingredients: non-nano zinc oxide, beeswax, jojoba oil, vitamin E. That’s it.

Made in small batches in Laguna Beach, California. Packaged in a reusable 2oz metal tin that actually gets recycled when you’re done with it.

It goes on like a balm. Warm a small amount between your fingers and work it into your skin. There’s a slight white cast from the zinc — that’s normal, and it settles quickly. The beeswax base keeps it in place through sweat and saltwater, so it doesn’t run into your eyes or wash off the moment you get wet.

Apply before you head out. Reapply every two hours, or after swimming. Don’t skip your neck and ears.

Most chemical formulas use UV filters that absorb into your skin. This one doesn’t. Non-nano zinc oxide sits on the surface and physically reflects UVA and UVB rays. Nothing absorbs into your bloodstream. Nothing washes off into the reef.
